Greg Pierce
Greg Pierce been passionate about music and the guitar since receiving his first toy guitar at the age of four.
After many years of balancing his business career with his hobby of writing and performing music, Greg created Odyssey Audio Media in 2004, and went on to compose and produce music for all types of productions from videos to commercials and films. He found his niche in corporate productions, creating music for videos, events, and annual meetings of a number of Fortune 100 companies, including award-winning productions for Citigroup, Pirelli Tires, and a children’s TV show.
In 2007, he produced and composed the music for the award-winning program “Fish The Surf”, receiving his own Telly Award for sound design. Things get rather fishy from there (so to speak) when he was asked to compose the theme music for the Jellies Invasion exhibit at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. A short time later, while boating on the Chesapeake Bay and thinking about his new-found sea-life niche, he came to discover that water was not only a part of his life, it was part of his musical inspiration as well.
Upon learning about the National Aquarium and its efforts to provide free admission to the wounded veterans and sick children in our community, Greg realized he had an opportunity to give back and the concept of “SEA NOTES” was born. He picked a few songs from his catalog of music, composed a few new tunes inspired by his travels to exotic natural destinations, and began production. In August of 2011, the CD was completed.
